This dvd is top notch when it comes to metal bending in magic. Most of the effects are very strong and look extremely convincing (watch the demo trailer). I especially liked (former fellow "Nutmegger") Richard Osterlind's techniques with "Spoon Bend" and "Cutlery Spray". Very strong and extremely visual.
I have only been using metal bending in my mentalism presentation for the past few years but this material will definately kick it up a notch or two! While practicing in the mirror I actually fooled myself!
Banachek's routines with the exception of his key and nail bending can be found on a previous release called "Psychokinetic Silverware" with his pal Gerry. This too is very strong, visual material.
The key bending by both artists was very good (if that is your forte). It is not personally my cup o' tea but the presentations by these very skilled men is visual and sneaky to boot!
Osterlind's "Spike Bending", as simple in performance as it was to construct, fooled me.
I didn't go with five stars on this dvd because I found that the nail bending was somewhat weak and wasn't really very practical. Still...a great job from these two very talented artists.
