Effect
The magician displays a cigarette and says he is trying to break the habit. He proceeds to break the cigarette into several pieces and drops them into his hand. A little magical gesture and the hand is opened to reveal a perfectly restored cigarette. Next, the filter is torn off the cigarette. Visually it appears back on the cigarette! Must see to believe, it looks like real magic!

When I saw this effect on demo, I had an idea of how it was done. I purchased it. I was disappointed when I opened the box and found that I was wrong. I tried the effect a few times, watched the demo many more times, and found that several killer effects are not only easy to do with this gimmick but also that they can be combined into a nice routine. Good value purchase, even if you don't smoke because it makes a nice "anti-smoking" routine.
