Possibilities - Endless

The first fully magnetic ring designed by Magicians for Magicians!

The Wizard PK Ring is a complete, 100% Neodymium Rare Earth Magnet fashioned into a ‘wedding band' style ring. It will give you a host of unique opportunities to amaze and impress, limited only by the extent of your imagination. To get you started we have set out two basic routines for you to try.

The beauty of the ring lies not only in how it looks, a "wedding band" on your finger looks completely natural to any spectator, but also in the fact that the ring does all the work for you. There is no need for you to conceal anything - a rare treat.
  • Stop time on a person's watch using the power of ‘suggestion'.
  • Make items such as cutlery or stationery move, using the power of a person's mind.
  • Chopless chop-cup.
  • Coin vanishes and appearances.
Limited only by the extent of your imagination.

Routines Included

Routine 1 - Stopping Time
Routine 2 - Coin Through Glass

Please be aware that it is not advisable to use the ring if you have been fitted with a pacemaker.

I bought this ring to perform a specific effect - impromptu cups and balls with the magnet helping to make one of the styrofoam cups a chop cup.

I agree with the previous review in that I was immediately disappointed with the look of the ring - and I have the gold one. It looks strange on my finger, and when a prop attracts attention like that it makes it hard to disguise its role.

Moreover, I have been disappointed with the strength of the magnet. I have not yet found the right formula. The problem, in general, has been that the magnet in the ring seems too weak to safely assure a chop-cup hold on the prepared napkin ball or other object being used in the routine.

I haven't given up yet, but so far I have been quite disappointed.

My first observation upon opening this product was that it does not look like a real ring. The one I have is supposed to resemble a wedding band but looks as if it came out of a bubble gum machine. To be perfectly honest the shape and finish of the ring would not “sell” it as a real wedding band. It just looks too cheap. Now to be fair the one that I have has a silver finish. Maybe the one with the gold finish looks better. But I still don’t believe that the shape of the ring works.

The instructions are a bit sparse to say the least. Two effects are described. The first effect “Stopping Time” which involves stopping the second hand on a spectators watch warns: “Do not do this with digital or self winding watches. It will only get you a bill for a new watch!” With those comforting words in mind I moved on to the second effect. The second effect “Coin Through Glass” would have benefited from a sketch or two but at least you don’t have to have your attorney on speed dial to perform it.

It does not take a genius to figure out that there are many uses for a utility device like this but the problem of the ring’s appearance is a bit much to overcome. I cannot imagine an adult performer wearing this and not feeling silly.
