This is a precision piece of apparatus that is also durable. I have owned my stack of halves for 20 years, used it often and it still is in 'like new" status.

I have the leather cone, which is a simple and direct way to perform the coins through the hand. But mine also came with two metal caps and a metal cylinder. The halves seem to just fit in the cylinder with the caps on it, yet they still disappear mysteriously and appear under the spectator's hand.
