Bag to Flag
Magic King

The magician shows a small plain, red bag on both sides and on the inside. He/she then places anything- such as some small red silks, white silks, and blue silks (not included) into the bag. Then he/she may also place some paper stars (also not included) into the bag. With a magic phrase or motion the bag instantly changes into a huge (38” X 28”) American Flag!
Effect is beautifully packaged and includes complete illustrated instructions in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish!

When I received this effect I was pleased with the size of the flag and with its bright colors. The effect plays as described.
However, the bag is somewhat bulky and supicious looking - not a light fluttering bag by any stretch of the imagination. That means that if you are too close to the audience, it doesn't look so well. On stage, you can get by with it.
Because of the stiffness, there is not a magical moment where the bag just disappears and the flag appears. Perhaps with more practice, I'll get the hang of making the change look really well. BUT, I haven't gotten there yet.
For that reason, it is rated somewhat low.
