Store your closeup act in this beatiful velvet covered case.
At 32.5x20x5.5cm (13x8x2.25 inches), it is a perfect table hopping closeup mat BUT thats not all!
Not only is it a perfect accessory, it also doubles as an incredible psychic illusion.
Effect
A nut and bolt is examined.
It is placed on the your closeup mat (case).
Under your control, the nut and bolt can be made to thread or unthread - your choice!
Whilst this happens, you are stood back, perfectly still, mearly concentrating on the Nut & Bolt. You couldn't have done a thing!!
Remember - you are not touching anything and do not have to be close to the case or bolt.
No strings, no springs, no rubber bands, no wires or pulls - Nut & Bolt is completely examinable!
If this doesn't blow their socks off, they aren't wearing any!

This is a very clever and effective trick. So why am I only giving this 3 stars? Well although its also well made there are a few major problems with it, The first is that the nut is a bit too small for the job, it needs to be bigger so that it doesn't move and also a little higher so that the head of the bolt is lifted off the mat.
The way it is at the moment the head catches on the mat stopping the trick from working properly towards the end of the unscrewing and the nut sometimes moves with the movement of bolt which can then make the trick fail.
However my biggest grip is the gimmick is too noisy. It might be alright in a noisy restaurant but elsewhere it spoils the whole effect. I now have a choice either I sell it or put the gimmick into my own close up table. If these small problems (and they are small) are solved then it's one hell of a trick! But as it stands for $90 why should I have 'fix' it! Maybe I should give it an extra star...... But then again......
