This store is Great! The people that work there are friendly and perform a lot of magic, and their prices are great. They have a great variety of tricks. If it weren't for this store my interest for magic would have probably died away, but they always have something great, no matter what kind of magician you are.

I have been dealing with PJ and his trick shop for some 43 years. (I go back to the PJ's Trick Shop in the basement of Randhurst Shopping Center, then his little shop on Elmhurst Road in Mt. Prospect, finally - and I hate to use the word "finally" because it sounds so terminal - I have enjoyed working with PJ and his talented staff on Rand Road in Arlington Heights.

He is ethical, honest, very knowledgeable and quite concerned about getting you the customer the gag or novelty of proper Magician's Effect - and the proper training to pull it off properly - that will keep you coming back for more fun! Call PJ or stop in the shop and work with him.

You'll be glad you did!

I recently made an order to this shop and I was disappointed that they were out of stock and that the item had been discontinued. However, they did not give me any run around nor did they charge my credit card first. They called me the next day and apologized for the the error (they have since updated their website). Yes I'm disappointed about the item but their prompt, aboveboard response to a bad situation is admirable! I shall do business again with them.

I live within a 30 minute drive from PJ's Trick Shop. I rarely buy anything from them unless I absolutely can not wait to get it from somewhere else. They are one of the HIGHEST priced stores around. PJ himself talked me into buying some stupid plastic TENYO garbage trick. I sold it on eBay for half what I paid. I avoid this place. WAY TOO EXPENSIVE.

I placed my order and 3 days later it was delivered! I called with a question and had good customer service. I am very happy with their service and will definitely order from them again.

I ordered 2 Tenyo items October 20. I received a call the next day that one of the items was back ordered and I should be receiving it in about 2 weeks. I waited until Dec 1 to check back on my order and received it 3 days later. One of the items had been opend, taped closed again and the instructions where missing. I called them and they offered to mail/email me the instructions. I am not a happy customer.
