I have been a customer of Hocus Pocus for many years starting when I lived in California. I now live in Texas, and will still buy from them almost exclusively. Paul and his son Max are excellent people to deal with. They usually have exclusive items that you cannot get anywhere else. As far as helpful, I couldn't ask for any more than they give. As an example, a year or so ago, I liked an exclusive that they had advertised. Max is usually on the spot ready to answer questions about their products, but this time he had not gotten the item in, and on an important question I had, he could not answer. He contacted the originator, and got permission to view the video instructions prior to my buying the item. Needless to say, the instructions answered the question, and I placed my order within minutes of viewing the video. I don't know of ANY dealer who goes to that extent to help a customer. Great company, great people and I recommend them without hesitation.

Hocus Pocus has a huge selection. They usually have items you can't find anywhere else. They have great sales all the time. The only downside is their shipping. For some reason it seems to be a lot higher than everyone else so I don't order from them as much anymore

Hocus-Pocus is the BEST! Friendly and knowledgeable and honest people along with a huge selection of both new and used magic. Except for a few items that they and other dealers can’t discount their prices are the best. I’ve checked and 99% of the time their price is the lowest. I’ve been buying my stuff from them for 10 years and have never had any sort of problem.

Hocus Pocus is a very reliable retailer. They are one of the best in the business. They have amazing shipping prices and amazing customer support. The site could be built better but besides that you will love them. They are now doing reviews on there YouTube Channel now so check them out.

Only once made an order as I try to buy local but he did not have the item. Great service. I had made a mistake in my Credit Card number but when they Emailed me it was written in such a way to imply that they may have made the mistake-nope-it was me. Came all the way from the US to New Zealand in 6 days, Friday to Thursday, Very well packaged and secure and it was good postage price. Top notch and will return!

I SENT PAUL PER OUR CONVERSATION AN ITEM TO TRADE.THIS WAS A 300.00 DOLLAR ITEM.THE ITEM HE SENT ME WAS THE ITEM I WANTED WHICH WAS A 250.00 DOLLAR TRICK.WHEN I GOT IT THE HINGES ON THE BOX WERE BROKEN OFF.WHEN I CALLED HIM ,HE TOLD ME IT WASNT HIS PROBLEM ,AFTER HE CUSSED AT ME.EARLIER THIS YEAR HE STATED IF CERTAIN COLOR PEOPLE DIDNT MAKE UP FOR A LOT OF HIS SALES,HE WOULD NOT DEAL WITH TRASH LIKE THAT.I THINK HE IS A RACIST ,AND OUT OF CONTROL.I HAVE SPENT A TON OF MONEY THERE.BUT LIKE SO MANY OTHERS I KNOW THAT HAVE GOT SHAFTED BY MR GROSS. WE HAVE NOW BOYCOTTED HIS SHOP.THIS IS AMERICA,EVERYONE DESERVES AN EQUAL CHANCE,NO MATTER WHAT COLOR THEY ARE.I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM EVER.

Terrible service never again! Had to wait a month before my product arrived then it was defective. Don't know whats getting into these magic companies???

I'd like to say that I have dealt with Paul at Hocus Pocus for well over 4 years now and have purchased numerous items from him. Without fail he has ALWAYS stood by the items he sells. On those very rare times when something would go wrong Paul always made it right. He is an outstanding person and an absolute delight to do business with. He has a wealth of knowledge about magic and is always ready to help fellow magicians with questions they may have about their purchases. I absolutely feel comfortable recommending Hocus Pocus to fellow magicians. They are good honest people you can trust.

I too ordered an item that was back ordered and had to call. Ken told me that he had emailed me and apologized. He said they would cancel, offer a credit or get the item to me as soon as they got it. Turns out they did email me the day after I ordered. The email was kicked into my spam folder. In the email, Ken was apologetic and willing to do whatever I wanted to make it right. That is all I can ask for and I look forward to doing more business with Hocus-Pocus.

Charged my credit card though the item was out of stock and back ordered. Then, did not inform me. I had to call. This is not ethical mail order business.

I have dealt with quite a few dealers in the past, but now I use Hocus Pocus exclusively. They always ship promptly with good and fair shipping prices.

Anytime I have had a question, I am either emailed back quickly, or someone will take the time to actually call me. The customer service is the best I have ever experienced.

Their prices are great, their inventory is immense. I would, and do, recommend Hocus Pocus to anyone.

In all the dealers I have dealt with over the many years of being a magician, I have to rate Hocus-Pocus as one of the best.

Some magic companies seem only interested in your money, this may be the case with Hocus-Pocus but they always seem to care!

With prompt reply emails, fast delivery service there is not much more you could ask from a company except maybe discounts, and yes if you sign up (free of charge) you can get disount on most items PLUS every now and again they have a sale on most items.

Because I live in the UK the postage from US is high, however beacuse of the great value and the wonderful service I buy most of my magic stuff from Hocus Pocus.
