You can use it in magic routines for adults and children.

The gimmick is undetectable and can be used with 360 degrees.

Mr. Gloves is designed so that you can carry it in your jacket or pants pocket and use it whenever and wherever you want to perform improvised magic since with it you can make countless appearances and disappearances of small objects.

You can include it in any of your routines and make them much more fun since the combination of magic with the tenderness of this character's participation will make that moment unforgettable.

Overview

Mr. Gloves by Juan Pablo has to hold the record for how fast a trick sells out once it comes into stock. It is absolutely incredible how much attention this cute and jaunty little trick has gotten. Although one may look at this and categorize it as kid’s magic, the character created by the performer is so endearing that this effect transcends all ages and demographics.

Effect

The performer dons a pair of red gloves and shows them. He then turns one of the gloves into what appears as a hat and places on one of the fingers on the opposite hand. He then takes a small pair of eye glasses on places it on the finger as well. The spectators begin realize he made a cute glove covered hand puppet. This puppet then starts to perform magic. He makes silks and lit cigarettes disappear, finds thought of cards and other magic tricks. The puppet’s set is done and waves goodbye as the performer places the gloves back into his pocket.

Method

The method revolves around a very old and commonly used magic utility device which is disguised to match the gloves. The handling isn’t much different than how it is normally used. With Mr. Gloves however, the puppet is doing the tricks and all the attention is on the cute antics of the puppet and not the magician.

Product Quality

The props provided are minimal. A pair of red knit gloves, the glove covered utility device and a small pair of plastic eyeglasses. The instructional is about 20 minutes long and done to the theme song of the trick which happens to be Just a Closer Walk with Thee by Monty Sunshine. There is no verbal instruction but the moves are quite basic and shown at a very easy pace to follow. What is not included are any additional items you may need such as the silk, cigarettes (which probably would not play well in this country), cards or manipulation balls. As a side note, for the asking price, a silk should have been provided.

Ad Copy Integrity

I won’t even call this a trick; it is more of a performance piece. I have shown the trailer to several individuals of disparate ages and all were enamored with the glove puppet. The ad copy is accurate and all you have to do is watch the trailer yourself to get an idea as to how this will play out. Get yours while you can..this is a winner.
