Overview
We all know this one. A handkerchief is displayed in a glass. The performer removes the cloth, hides it in his closed palm and it miraculously turns into an egg. The egg is then cracked into the glass and there is no sign of the handkerchief ever again.Effect
See the overview, this is really simple and there is nothing to it but that. This is an age old effect that most kid magicians received in a magic kit (at least when I was a kid so many years ago).Method
The method uses a not so well guarded secret and it is all about the egg. This is not for close up and should be used in a parlor like setting. It is so easy to perform as long as your hand are big enough. You do have to provide your own real egg and a normal glass (one with a stem is best).Product Quality
This is a good value for $12. The egg that I have is brown and looks like a real egg. Of course the gimmicked egg cannot be handed out for inspection and I would suggest standing at least 4 feet from your spectators. You get a small handkerchief with the egg in a nice see through small plastic container with a screw on top.There is a link to instructions on how to perform a basic routine which is a no frills video. It is only a few minutes long and that is all you need to master this quick routine.
