I am not a performer, just a hobbyist who spends too much money on magic stuff. I bought the Shadow and the Orphic when they were on sale.
They both give great peeks. The difference is that the Shadow Wallet is basically just a sleeve with a window and slots for credit cards and the Orphic is a bifold. The Shadow Wallet also includes the gimmicked cards that are necessary for the main effect which uses the index of the wallet.
The reason I bought the Shadow wallet is because of the included main trick. It's a variation (I think) of Inferno in that the spec has a "free" choice of card and this card is shown to be the only one in an otherwise empty wallet. The method is very clean and subtle. No sleight of hand whatsoever. This effect does not involve a peek whatsoever.
The instructions are absolutely top notch with very clear demonstrations of all aspects of the wallet. Dee Christopher and Lewis Leval really complement each other and bounce off ideas. I like the impromptu booktest.
Between the two wallets you get a lot of effects and they are very strong. I certainly fooled my wife and son.
I highly recommend both wallets. I don't have any tattoos nor do I wear knitted hats indoors and yet I could do the effects.
