Overview

Paper Restore is a modern take on the Torn and Restored Newspaper without the tearing. The product is well made and perfect for a children’s show. It doesn’t take much in time or talent but does allow for some banter with the kids.

Effect

The performer wants to display a poster of his favorite superhero but something is amiss, the poster is in pieces. He’ll fix that, he displays the pieces and places them behind the last piece and makes a magical gesture and voilà, the poster is whole and can be shown on both sides.

Method

The poster is gimmicked to facilitate the magic. As the unfolding procedure commences the complete poster is designed to receive the individual pieces and allow for the complete unfolding of the full size poster to display front and back.

Product Quality

The poster is printed on quality stock and the image is crisp and clean. The quality of the actual prop is excellent. The video instruction is silent (except for the traditional annoying music one finds on the types of downloads) and is less than 2 minutes long. The handling is shown in the briefest manner possible. I do realize there isn’t much to the trick itself and what would drive the trick is the banter that the performer has with the kids, but a little bit more effort in the instructional would have been nice.

Ad Copy Integrity

The ad copy is as stated and the prop itself is superb in quality. Definitely a great value for the asking price.
