In short, this trick with four cards is an ADVENTURE. Cards change from blue to red to green to multicolored, and the faces change from blank to Queens to Jokers. But it's the smooth-as-silk handling that sets this packet trick apart. Dare we say, it might be the most efficient, amazing packet trick we've ever seen. It is certainly our VERY favorite Peter Pellikaan creation to date. Usually in tricks of this kind, there are necessary adjustments. You have to change the count you do, or move a card from top to bottom, or do a secret reversal, or take a card out, or add one in. GONE! In TURN, the handling looks identical in each phase, and one phase flows seamlessly into the next.

The Elmsley-like count of 4 cards is in actuality a block push off that is not easy to do smoothly. It is called the Brother John Hammond's 4 for 1 count.
Recently I dug it up again,watched the, still short, tutorial and started practicing. The ad copy is correct in that you do the same move over and over again. No moving cards from top to bottom or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jC_aaIwo8Ek versa. Just repeating the same move 5 times.
The ad copy is also correct in that visually this trick is baffling. You keep counting 4 cards over and over again. The change from blue backs, to queens, to red backs to jokers is quite stunning. The climax is when you turn over the "four" cards all the backs are different colours. Red, blue, yellow and green.
This is a short trick without any routine, just a demo of some really cool changes.
The instructions are OK. They are short and go by fast. Only about 7 minutes. Lots of pausing and restarting. They are not done by Peter Pellikaan.
The reset is also rather complicated and the explanation is also really fast. I wrote out the reset and printed it out with photos of how the cards are supposed to be stacked.
Included in the tutorial are instructions on how you can make your own set of cards and how to maintain that little bit of card modification. All this in the 7 minute downloadable tutorial.
I deducted 1/2 star because of the rather poor tutorial. The effect has now become one of favourite packet tricks.
