He coils it up around his hand, sprinkles a little "magical salt" on it, which makes four knots appear on the rope.
He unties the first knot, but to speed things up he coils the rope once more around his hand, then comes the magic knot again.
All the knots vanished!
After this more tricks can be performed with the rope, it can be handed out to the spectators to examine.

A very clever gimmick that can be set to work and then reset without notice, during performance to not work for the participant.

The instruction is a brief write-up, no DVD or video. The instruction is sufficient. There is a brief description of a routine that centers around talking about Stonehenge.
The pen comes with a three pen holder that also doubles to automatically reset the pen for another performance.

I have to fiddle with mine a bit to get it to reset. I had to put it in the holder and remove it again a few times before it reset. The good news is you can tell by feel whether it has reset or not.
