The Vanishing Deck has been a staple of magicians for a very long time. It has been one of those tricks that has been copied time and time again. There have been very good versions of this effect unfortunately this is not one of them.
Effect
The magician takes out a card tuck box from a case. He opens the flap of the card tuck box and shows there is a full deck of cards. The performer even pulls one card out from the box to show that they are truly a deck of cards. He then places the card back in the box and the tuck box back in the case. With a wave of his hand the entire deck of cards disappears.
Method
The method utilizes a phony tuck box and a gimmicked case. The card box is a shell and is constructed on such a way that when turned over, it appears the cards have disappeared.
Product Quality
The quality of the product is extremely poor. The first major issue is that there are no instructions. I suppose the producers of this product assumes that whoever purchases it, understands how a vanishing deck of cards works. Of course, this is not rocket science and within a couple of minutes an average magician can figure it out. The second issue is that the case provided will have to be retrofitted with the cards we have here in the US. That being the case (pun intended) some DIY is involved. Lastly, the most popular cards amongst magicians here are the Bicycle Playing Cards. The tuck box for Bikes is too large for the case provided.

The ad copy would be accurate if the case was usable but it is not.
Final Thoughts
If you are fervent on using the Vanishing Cards as a routine, I suggest getting the higher quality versions on the market like TCC’s Vanishing Deck Pro.
