iBalance

You bring out your cell phone, or ask to borrow a spectator’s.You balance it precariously between your two hands. Then slowly – impossibly – you remove one hand. Leaving the phone balanced in a truly mind bending condition!
The phone can even be balanced on a single fingertip!
The phone can then be immediately given out for inspection!
iBalance can be used with any smartphone and virtually any current cell phone. It uses no magnets, adhesives, or suction devices. It will work with most phone cases and under all performing environments.
iMpossible. iNnovative. iBalance.
Comes complete with custom machined gimmick and detailed instructional DVD with additional ideas and insights.

PROS
Great effect. Simple gimmick. Works very well. Great instruction.
It is easy to clean up and hand out the phone for inspection.
You can use a borrowed phone.
CONS
I think it would be good to give it some meaning as you are performing it. The effect is done and over in a few seconds. You will need to come up with a good justification for the effect. In his lecture, Mark talks about how he brought his leotard from his days when he was a gymnast. He says all of his sense of balance is gone except for what is left in his finger.
VERDICT
Nice simple gimmick and good instruction. Highly recommended.

I usually know in advance how a trick works but I must admit that I didn't have a clue about iBalance. I watched the clip over and over to no avail - I could not come up with a solution. When it arrived, I was not disappointed.
iBalance is brilliant. After trying it a few times on my phone - both the balance and the floating effect - I was off to try it on my wife's phone. She laughed out loud when I put her phone in a precarious position and left it balanced there. She has seen a lot of magic in our 50 years of magic but even she was fooled when I handed her the phone back with no tell-tale gimmick to hide.
iBalance does not require a lot of practice but you do have to acquire the 'knack' and get a 'feel' for it.. You can control the angles and at a certain positioning you can make the borrowed phone seem to float right off of your palms.
iBalance will work with virtually all mobile phones but because of the differing sizes and weights, and differing centers of balance, you will have to adjust your 'touch' slightly with an unfamiliar phone.
iBalance works great as an impromptu effect -'may I borrow your phone for a minute'- but I also use it on stage or when public speaking. If a phone rings, I ask for it. I retrieve it and balance it as I'm walking back to the stage (that always gets lots of laughs). Back on stage I stare at the phone, make it float, and then suggest that if it rings again I will make it disappear.
I love the fact that I can carry this small and virtually invisible (read easy to conceal) aid with me and put it to use quickly and secretly in full light right in front of the person I am performing for.
You are ready to perform iBalance any time and any where. Don't pass up this five star effect. You will amaze people with it. Theninstructions are good but you in fact will know how and be able to use this as soon as you receive it.
