Flesh Tone Invisible Thread

Sorcery Manufacturing

Sorcery Shop

(Based on 1 review)
This very fine flesh toned invisible thread is perfect for the professional thread magician. This thread is twice as strong as traditional thread, and it is much better for fluorescent lighting. This thread is perfect for close-up or strolling magic and is incredibly fun to perform with!! Now 10 feet on a card.

This review refers to the 'new' Flesh Tone Invisible thread from Sorcery Manufacturing.

The thread is relatively well priced at £4.50 for 10ft containing around 40 strands so ample for most thread workers.
The colour of the unstripped thread is actually gold not 'flesh'. When stripping the thread it is very noticeable just how fine and 'invisible' this thread actually is! Is is VERY fine and almost truly invisible to the naked eye. I think it would be less than half the thickness of Yigal Mesika's 'Spider Thread' so it's pretty thin! Thinner than Wooly, Kevlar, Vectra, Infinity threads et al. I actually snapped a couple of threads whilst stripping it and I haven't done that for some time! So it does take a little bit of careful handling. I then put it thru it's paces using a couple of standard routines and again snapped a couple of threads (damn!). However, after a few go's I got the hang of it (no pun intended!). And started to get some results. It is not suitable for levitating, floating or pulling any object that is remotely heavy. No problem with playing cards and light finger rings or other similar objects etc but not a deck of cards or a mobile phone.
The biggest surprise to me was it's invisibility under harsh lighting conditions. I tested it in the full glare of white fluorescent back lighting and it was still hard to spot. I then used extremely bright white and red LED lighting (it's amazing the lighting you come across when working bars & restaurants!) and compared it directly against the Mesika spider thread and some Kevlar thread - it won hands down! This is truly 'invisible' thread! On the down side: a little more difficult to handle than 'normal' IT's and only suitable for light objects. However, I would be highly confident using this thread in very close up routines and effects in most if not all lighting conditions.
Overall mark 7/10. It may, just may be of genuine interest to serious thread workers. Hope you find this review of use.
Oh - please remember... Levitate Responsibly!
