Anyway, I will say that the main effect on this DVD, while visually stunning and powerful, is a bit convoluted and kind of fidgety or "move-y." However, the concept is still super solid. You just may need to work on streamlining the handling. There are some additional applications mentioned in the DVD that are really clever . . . a book test idea, how to make smoke appear at your finger tips, plus the bonus effect Heartburn.
Generally the effects in the DVD are similar in that each effect ends with something burned into the card. The burn may be caused by flash paper or your bare finger tips . . . depending on which effect and presentation you are going for. The prep time and the "stuff" needed to make the gimmicks is minimal. And multiple gimmicks can be made up at one time. Plus, the DVD comes with a couple gimmicks already made for you, but the DVD teaches you how to make more.
The magic is solid, visual and uses fire . . . what more do you need. For $25.00 bucks, you don't want to pass this one up. 4.5 stars . . . definite gem
