This two-DVD set is all about learning how to read palms. It’s a great set, but since Leaping Lizards Publishing is out of business, it may be hard to find.

On DVD #1, which comes in at about two hours, Dean Montalbano says he will teach you how to read palms for real. He goes on to define the terms chirology and chiromancy, or scientific palm reading and psychic palm reading, respectively. Then he thoroughly teaches you all about the features of the hand – the shape of the palm, the mountains, the fingers, and the lines. After that, he explains how to interpret the significance of the jewelry that someone may be wearing. He is easy to follow, and he also uses a lot of animated segments to help the viewer understand what he is describing.

DVD #2 is one hour. On it, Dean talks about the business side of palmistry. He begins with the philosophy of palm reading, doing it with integrity. He says to stay away from incorporating magic tricks or cold reading methods. He explains where you can do readings, such as conventions, parties, bars, or restaurants, and how to approach people to get those jobs in a professional manner. He then goes on to describe how you should dress, how to set up a space for readings, and he even talks about using hand-sanitizer, pointers, and magnifying glasses. Finally, he does two example readings, a short reading and a longer reading.

As for the quality of the product, the DVDs were well-produced. The animated segments were easy to understand, and the speed with which he went through the material was at a good pace. The second DVD also contains a PDF copy of Palm Reading Plain and Simple (178 pages), as well as some photos of palms.

The ad copy integrity was mostly accurate. If you follow these DVDs, you will learn a system to read palms. However, since Leaping Lizards Publishing is out of business, one cannot go to its website and access support, articles, downloads, or Q&A’s.
