Overview
This is a really great packet trick in which you show one blank faced card and 4 Aces and then remove the blank card which is set aside. Now, each of the 4 Aces you have shown not only turn face down one by one in your hands but then vanish and you are now left with 4 blank faced cards. The previously set aside blank card is now printed with all 4 Ace pips on it. Effect
A blank faced card is placed face down inside a plastic wallet or is given to a Spectator to hold between their closed two hands. Four Aces are shown front and back and one by one the Aces turn face down! Magically the Aces vanish and leave four blank faced cards. The card inside the envelope is then removed/your Spectator opens their hands and turned over and now all the pips of the vanished Aces are printed on it!Method
Basic card handling skills are required to accomplish this fairly easy packet effect, the specially printed cards accomplish what you will need to do. If you can do a Double Lift and the Flustration Count you are well on the way to doing this effect with no effort. If you are new to magic or a beginner you will be be taught these slights will be invaluable to you for further card effects you will learn.Product Quality
Comes with the specially printed cards by Bicycle so are of great quality and a plastic card wallet. The wallet is nothing special, good enough to carry the cards with you. Not only do you receive printed instructions that are easy to follow but you also have access to an online video tutorial which you can download.Ad Copy Integrity
The trailer video depicts exactly what you will be doing and what your Spectator will see and experience. The ad claims that this effect is: easy to do, instant reset, perfect for strolling and for close-up which is all very accurate. The reset is not ‘instant’ but pretty darn close. I did see a comment online that the reset was complicated and took a long time but is it shown quit well at the end of the tutorial - not an issue.Final Thoughts
This is a very nice, visual and impactful packet effect that once learned will be a nice addition to your repertoire. This is one of the few effects that in the video, it is taught by a left-handed person and seeing that I am one of those people, it was great. No worries though, the written instructions are taught for right handed people. Either way, it is very well explained and demonstrated. I highly recommend this and rate it accordingly. Suggestions
I can see myself adding these cards to a normal deck and going from there, use your imagination for other variations. Great additional potential.
