Although I didn't purchase the original (I shall now though), I decided to go for this effect to see if it was as good as it sounded. It is.
The cards you receive contain a mixture of horror films ranging from old classics such as Frankenstein to more up to date titles such as The Ring. The cards are printed on quality stock and are laminated and will last you a long time.
The method itself us easily learnt and once done, the technical side of the effect is a doddle, allowing you to focus on the presentation.
The DVD that comes with the package is high quality, well-filmed and covers everything you need including some nice presentational ideas and subtleties. It also includes a few variations on the original premise and two printable pdf's.
The cards are not just an effect as such, but a tool which allows your imagination to run wild. I have performed this 'in the field' and it gets a great response every time and is very strong.
You also receive some extra cards: a double blank, some non-horror film cards and a duplicate.
For the price, this is great value for money and is something you won't have sitting around in a draw somewhere. It will be in your pocket!
