(Based on 1 review)
Mike Gallo is up next, with a self working stunner called Thieves and Sheep. Differences is a copper silver routine where coins move around and around. He finishes with an eye popping routine called Bust Up Bucks, based on a Dr. Sawa idea, where a dollar breaks into 2 half dollars and then into 4 quarters. Special guest Vic Trabucco is back with a stand up coin vanish, and special guest Scotty York makes his New York Coin Magic Seminar debut with his famous Copper Silver Transposition, with the patter that other magicians have tried to prevent him from revealing, as its just too good!!
The Bonus section is bursting with much more! Gallo goes into detail on a new Okito box routine, and Roth discusses the proper way to do the spider grip vanish. Rubinstein makes sure you understand the R.O.P.S. move, and explains a NEW application for it. Special Guest Al Schneider presents the second part of his coin theory, and newcomer Bill Citino offers a brilliant hanging coins routine. Special guest Scotty York finishes up with a trick he always does at the bar, called Nickle Saver.
Running Time Approximately 120min

If you read my review on Volume Seven of this series, you might be expecting the same with this one. However, this DVD is actually very good!
Sure there is much of the same kind of material my friends and I call “Coin-Fu.” Coins that vanish, transpose, and change so fast you can’t appreciate the magic. You get no sense of the performer in front of you. He seems just as much of a blur as the coin that vanished and appeared ten times in twelve-seconds.
I’ll also get this out of the way: Dropping a coin into Ramsey Subtlety is NOT a deceptive coin vanish! We all know, magicians and laypeople, exactly where the coin is! You are only fooling yourself. With that out of the way, here are some gems that are worth picking this DVD up for.
David Roth gives a wonderfully theatrical version of Nest of Boxes. Mike Gallo shows us a version of Thieves and Sheep which will fool even those who know the method. Scotty York shows a useful, and magical version of Copper Silver Transposition. Al Schneider gives an interesting mini lecture on magic theory.
All these Volumes are different, and that makes them difficult to review. If you want to get your feet wet with this series, I’d say start with Volume Nine!
