For $30 you get a coin routine that is supposed to be pretty good, but I can't tell because the lighting is bad. Plus you get some pretty solid instructions from Chris Priest.
You get to watch the performance several times on this DVD, and you get to see it with two different groups. Then you see pieces of it (in the "extras" section) being performed for a handful of different crowds.
The problem is that the lighting and camera distance was a bit rough, so it was hard to see about half of the routine. The parts that I could make out were good. For example, his jumbo coin production was killer. Even once I learned how he was doing it, I still didn't see it coming. Also, he's got an excellent muscle pass.
The routine only uses 4 coins and a jumbo coin (and a gimmick that just about every coin worker has . . . rhymes with bell).
The nice thing about this routine is that it's very compartmental. You can do all of it or part of it, and it's relatively angle proof. The teaching is pretty solid and the lighting is much better.

During the teaching segments, after learning a portion, it cuts back to the performance portion of the DVD that was just taught. It's a great way to learn.
Other than some of the production issues, the only other major issue I have is the title . . . I just have a real issue with people calling their material "ultimate" or "master" or "masterpieces", etc. And remember, I'm the guy who released a DVD called "Gemstones: 13 Rare Magic Gems." In hindsight, I made the same mistake with that title. I think the tricks are solid, but "rare magic gems!?" Come on Jeff! Anyway . . . I digress.
The point is that Priest's routine, while very good, is far, far, far from a masterpiece as the ad copy claims. The methods are very solid, though I think there could be some improvement there. The performance, however, is where I see the most potential for polishing. Let's not stroke our own egos too aggressively . . .
The testimonials in the ad copy are way over-hyped in my opinion . . . David Penn saying that he can't believe Priest is giving this away is a bit over the top. It's just a coins across routine with a one coin routine and jumbo coin production. It's not anything earth shaterring over new. It's pretty standard stuff.
The other two testimonials are just as over-hyped.

3 stars with a Stone Status of gem.
