Omega Reel

Precision Magic

(Based on 1 review)
The Omega Reel is the last reel that you will ever buy!

Now that's a pretty big statement. But, if Precision Magic can back up that claim, then they just might have something most Magicians would use. So what's their proof?

Just ask your self one simple question...What are the draw backs of most ITR?
  • If you loose the gaff its sometimes hard to fish the end back out.
  • If your run out of gaff it is difficult to restring.
  • Some ITR limit the distance the gaff will come out before snapping.
  • Difficulty in repairs in most cases.
  • Hard to find repair items. *(internal elastics)
  • Limited to one color gaff
  • Concealment issues.
  • Stationary Anchors *(both ends)
  • ITR is too big or too small
  • Standard hook ups
  • Usually lots of noise
  • Batteries run out
The Omega Reel is a highly Mobile IETR that overcomes all the obstacles listed above.

The Omega Reel comes complete containing; One Omega Reel with Black Silk Worm I.E.T and one extra internal elastic.

I gave it a fair chance. I really did.

It's not that I thought it was bulky (it is). It's not that I thought the thread was too shiny (it is). The problem was that the damned thing doesn't work.

Without giving away the full secret, let me try to explain what happened. You know from the name and description that it's a reel. The idea is that you pull out some thread, use it, and then it retracts back into the device. It's that last step that's the problem.

The minute it started reeling in, the thread got tangled inside the device. I tried this multiple times. Each time, disentangling the thread was quite a chore. But I persevered in the hopes that I was just doing something wrong. "User error," ya know.

Well, I never got it to work. Not even once. I guess that's all I can say about this product.
